Wednesday, October 13 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Please join on Wednesday, Oct 13 for a Zoom club meeting. This regular club meeting, where visitors are always welcome. Gordon Lafleur will be our special guest this evening.
Gordon has been passionate about making photographs since high school. From 1969 to ’71 he attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Professional photography program. After graduating, he worked as a commercial photographer, newspaper photographer, audio-visual photographer until 1984, when he moved to Vancouver Island and opened a portrait studio in the small community of Parksville/Qualicum where he operated one of the last traditional stand-alone store-front portrait studios until retiring in January 2018.
Years ago, he realized that the only thing that would ultimately have any meaning for him were the photographs that document his life. Join Gordon as he discusses how to use photography to document your personal journey through life. Ultimately, it’s those photos which have the most meaning to people and their families. He looks forward to sharing his passion with us. Check out his facebook page if you are curious.
