Club Meeting via Zoom

Please join on Wednesday, Jan 12 for a Zoom club meeting. This regular club meeting, where visitors are always welcome. Our special guest presenter will be Dr Ron Goodlin. The Take 5 segment will have Elfi Redpath showing still images that club members have taken during the snow and Christmas season.
Dr. Goodlin is a conservation-wildlife and nature photographer from Ontario. After slowing down his career as a Cosmetic Dentist, he has spent much of his time traveling the world to photograph wildlife that is in danger of extinction from the perils of mankind.
In this presentation Ron tells the story of a group of photographers as they search for the elusive and extremely rare Spirit Bear. You will feel like you are right there sharing in the adventure, you will see the magnificent landscapes and animal behaviours, and gain an understanding of what it takes to be a Wildlife and Nature Conservation photographer. The meeting will start at 7:30 PM however the “Waiting Room” will be open at 7:00 PM for any members who would like to connect early and have an opportunity to visit with fellow members. Guests are always welcome.
