Wednesday, February 26 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
This will be a regular club meeting where visitors are always welcome. Our very own William Thauberger will be our guest presenter.
In his talk and slide show presentation, William, will cover the best of New England landscape photography. If your passion is brilliant autumn colours and/or fluffy white winter scenes, in uncrowded areas, this is the place to visit.
After shooting in these “sugar maple” states for some twenty years, William knows the back roads better than most locals. He will show you how to find the most breathtaking scenery, such as brilliant fall foliage poking through the early morning mist, charming country farms, hidden sugar shacks, picturesque covered bridges, water wheeled grist mills, rustic red barns, historic stone arch bridges, white steeple churches, stately light houses, and quaint fishing villages, as well as spectacular Acadia National Park, all without hiring a guide, signing up for a tour, or joining a costly photo trek.
Nowhere, will you find this many photogenic subjects in one small area. These tips should benefit anyone interested in photographing, sketching, painting, or just enjoying New England scenery at its best.
