Wednesday, September 25 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
This will be a regular club meeting where visitors are always welcome.
Ian MacDonald was one of our most inspiring speakers last year with his presentation on Finding Creativity.
We are excited to announce that Ian MacDonald will be returning to PDPC on September 25 to inform and motivate us on Street Photography. What you will learn in this dynamic presentation, you can apply to whatever genre of photography that you prefer.
Street photography is an incredibly satisfying way to document the world around you, to create new art, and to express your vision of the world. Street photography requires you to constantly observe, to be fluid, and to be ready. A good street photograph tells a story.
Ian McDonald says “A good street photographer understands that street photography is about people, not camera settings. It’s about moments, not perfect exposures. It’s about capturing life.”
At our September 25 meeting, you will learn about:preparing yourself for a day of shooting; composition – what really matters in a street photograph; tips for candid street photographs; the legalities; some basic editing tips to enhance your street photographs; and more.
