Exploring Fine Art Photography – Seeing Lines From Concept to Completion.
How do we use our camera (which at one level is simply a recording device) as a creative tool to explore our artistic self?
Come to our May 8 meeting to see and hear how Sharon Tenenbaum made the transition from engineering to photography. Her presentation will hone in on Fine Art Architectural Photography; what it is and how to create it; but the lessons learned can be applied to any genre. Sharon will provide an overview of various bodies of work in different styles from photographers that inspired her. Using her Sundial Bridge Series as illustration, Sharon will take you through her thought process in creating this series, what she envisioned, her in camera ‘as is’ captures as well as post processing including stacking technique.
Sharon Tenenbaum is an acclaimed fine art photographer. Her work ranges from crisp black and white to colourful hand-painted multi-media images. She teaches at Langara College plus leads photography workshops in many locations. https://www.sharontenenbaum.com
