Wednesday, January 24 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
This will be a regular club meeting and as usual guests are always welcome. This will be a very exciting and interesting evening as our own Terry Webb will share his experiences and images in his presentation: Walking with Polar Bears. Terry had the opportunity to experience a wildlife photographers dream safari to photograph polar bears of Hudson’s Bay at the Nanuk Polar Bear lodge. The lodge is located on the shoreline of Hudson’s Bay 250 kilometers south of Churchill, Manitoba. Wildly rugged and remote, this location gave him the opportunity to experience ground-level polar bear photography. He will provide the details showing how the trip was organized and, of course, show images he was able to capture in this pristine, untouched wilderness environment.
