Wednesday, September 27 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
This is the first meeting with our newly developed members presentation format. As always, guests are welcome to attend.
We are very excited to have Garry Johns as our first workshop presenter under this new format. For those of you who don’t know Garry, his photographic skills cover a variety of topics but he is best known for his outstanding landscape images. His landscape images encompass both urban and natural landscapes. In this workshop Garry will cover many aspects of both urban and natural landscape photography. Topics will include such things as: the criteria he uses in selecting a location, criteria for determining the scene composition, what lenses and other equipment to use, when to shoot a long exposure versus a standard image and many other related topics. This workshop will be followed up with a Your Focus outing the following week end where we can put our new found information into practice. At the October meeting we will have an opportunity to share the images we took at the Your Focus outing.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Garry’s work here is a link to his very popular Flickr site: https://www.flickr.com/photos/garryjohns/
If you are serious about improving your landscape photography skills you won’t want to miss this workshop.
